Done as part of a 30 minute class.
My current goal is: Improve my rendering of faces

Oops, darn you auto-correct! I was trying to say philtrum, not fulcrum of the lips LOL!

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by rendering (usually when I think of rendering I think of shading/coloring not linework).
If you're trying to improve your linework for faces I would study the loomis method and the planes of the face (in fact i would probably memorize these planes).
Loomis is very useful for breakdowns and if you practice drawing faces from scratch, drawing one from reference will become MUCH easier. I would focus on learning how/where to place features and less on drawing contours and trying to "eyeball" everything. You will learn much more this way.
I think the style is nice and loose and captures some personality which is great.

This is dope. WITH solid linear lines, a masterpiece might come forth.

Very nice face. You are on your way to reach your goal. Keep it up. I am going to refer you to two sites: Pinterest & On Air Video. Remember: Practice makes better. Therefore, keep practicing every day and you will reach your goal.
