Second Class

Done as part of a 1 hour class. My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form. I was kinda disappointed in my earlier attempts to figure out the LoA on the above poses, but I felt really good about the final drawing.

That's a nicer job you've got there, Fell-o-Fell. That's very influential. Still I've got one very little idea: I love how much forces and forms you've got going. Why don't you please do 58 more minutes of 1 minute pose gestures???? Why? Because, you be able to do more accurate and precise proporitons of the human forms, all in one stroke.

Hope you've found it a lot nicer and a lot encouraging.

Do you mean I should do a longer session?

Thats a really good work you have done Fell-o-Fell! Its very dynamic and has lots of flow and movement! Its not stiff which is a good sign as most artists shy away or feel overwhelemed (e.g. me ;D ) from doing difficult movements and end up having a straight and often still drawing.

The next step is to begin to add more precise outlines of your drawing to start working on getting the proportions right (as mentioned in previous critique). Try to focus on the muscle structure as well (if you have enough time in the exercise). Spend a bit more time to get the proportions right by adding more time to the session. I reccomend to survey the internet different pictures of poses from different angles so you can apply that to your drawings later on.

Overall, I loved the different poses and gestures you have drawn and keep up the great work!
