2 minutes

I was a little off because I was tired at the time. Done as part of a practice session with poses of 2 minutes in length. My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form
Mx. Abi
When I see this many lines to define a single 2 minute figure that tends to indicate a lack of confidence in the work. But you should have confidence in your work because you have good proportion. I recognize which figure this is, I've seen it several times. The torso is a touch long, the rest of the figure is good in proportion.

Can you do this with fewer lines?

I set a goal to be able to do a gesture in 10 lines or less - and not just as a wire contour.

It took me 18 months to master this but it was a strong goal that helped me a lot because it made me pause and think about EVERY line and not waste any.

I would not say jump to the 10 line challenge - I woudl say - how many can you remove?

It's not necessarily lack of confidence but figuring out what to do after the first minute. I'll have the form, abstract shapes and tilt by 60 seconds and then I'm stumped on what to do next so I add more lines. That's why I usually find myself doing 30 to 60 seconds more often with 2 minutes being my max.

In the future I'll try to use the bulking techinque in the last minute.
