30-Second Tony Underwear Pose.
© 2022 Polyvios Animations
Done as part of a practice session with poses of 30 seconds in length.
My current goal is: Improve my figure drawing forces, gestures, acting, actions, thoughts and feelings, most quickly.
This one, I called Tony, is where I'm going for the faster, more elastic and squashy-stretchy in the motion scribbles. What do you think? What can I do to push the guts or polish them up??
Cooped
So I think the energy and confidence in your strokes are working well. However I think if you're only doing 30 second poses you shouldn't be giving any time to the negative space and should probably be using only one utensil. I think moving forward you should try to capture the gesture of the figure with more identifiable landmarks as well. Looking at this piece for the first time it is unclear what I'm seeing. Though it is good that you are working large and loose, both of those qualities are very helpful in gesture drawing.
