Static and dynamic Rose

A blog post triggered a brainstorm about what makes drawings static or dynamic, and I tried to show my thoughts in these 2 drawings. Dynamic - leaning, twisting, forms going forward or back from the picture plane, varied line quality, color, light and shadow, model's facial expression, better proportions, etc. Both poses are from the 360 degree drawing tool.
