@Cherishcrush
@Markcy39
I'm pretty happy to have the impression!
I'm gonna keep it up and try to improve and strengthen my art style!

Thank you for reply! I'll use thinner blush in next try.
And try to draw more expressive details, tho creating small wrinklings without refs is kinda difficult for me.
@JuliaArt
Glad to have compliment, dude!
It's really what I wanted to express that volumes and energy coinciding in the drawings. So really happy you felt it from them.
I'm feeling this practice is really fun and working to enhance my skill of pose drawing, so I'm gonna keep doing.
June 30, 2021 5:29am #27322Thank you for attension, Polyvios Animations! Being glad to have helpful feedbacks. Yeah, some pieces of my drawing consits of choppy lines. I guess that's mainly because I iteratively erased and re-drew lines to create the pose. Compared with drawing with refs, it little bit harder to be confident about each line when doing without refs. Anyway I'll try to make more consistent lines. In addition to it, thank you for revision(proposal?). You talking about the middle one in 'first', right? I'll git it a try in some occasion.
June 29, 2021 11:08am #27320August 8, 2020 5:34am #26056I uploaded some photo-based drawings, where I become more careful about their proportion.
I'm showing original gestures(thin blue) and added construction(thick blue).
If there are still errors, I want them to be pointed out. Thank you.
August 6, 2020 7:31pm #26052Thank you guys for helpful critique, sincerely.
I got that the proportion issues are my biggest problem right now, and I'm gonna fix it with more accurate observation.
Doing overlay test with my drawings, I reallized my tendency to make their heads smaller than expected, and off-proportion of the legs.
So at first I'll kill the habit.
Thank you again.
More critiques are, of course, to be welcomed.
August 4, 2020 9:53am #26036I really like your drawing, especially the anatomical contour and overlapping around shoulder gardle is really fantastic.
I wanna give you critique, but I'm not a pro, and so please take my comments with a grain of salt.
Most of the textbooks and teachers tell us to avoid symmetric shapes around the major axis.
Some parts that have cylindrical base forms tend to suffer from this problem, like arms and legs, and I find this kind of problem in your drawings.
It can easily be fixed by just shifting apex of the curves just a little bit, which gives the drawing so-called rhythm and flow.
Anatomical knowledge may help to create asymmetric shape in some cases.
2August 4, 2020 8:05am #26035I'm currently working on process after gesture.
My drawings below based on my understanding of the book of Michael Hampton, which illustrating how to advance from simple gestures.
I'm showing the original gestures and the ones with addition of some detailed structures and rough anatomy, all of which are from my imagination and no reference.
Love some critique. thank you.

p.s.
After I uploaded, I realized the lower one is out of proportion in the left leg.
July 28, 2020 6:53am #26008Thank you for attention, Polyvios Animations!
It may be difficult to draw really using my shoulder because I mainly drawing on the relatively small display tablet.
However as you pointed out, my scribbly line definitely make my drawings hard to see.
I'm gonna try to be more confident in each stroke.
July 28, 2020 6:43am #26007Hi lamaplatiam.
Thank you for your critique! I got conficence you telling me my gestures convey you the movement and volume of the poses.
Proportion is the big thing I always fail in shorter poses.
Especially in strongly squashing torso (like the one you pointed out) I think I tend to make torso shorter than it should be.
I'm gonna practice to decline my bad tendencies in proportion.
Anyway very helpful advice, thank you.
July 26, 2020 7:34pm #26001Hi, Loillty. Im glad you to view my drawings.
I mainly do gestures and not spend much time for longer poses.
But as for the things I do after simple gesture, I basically try to deal with volumes, shapes, and anatomy, which are the things many books and vids teaching us.
My gestures finished in 1 or 2 min in many cases lack solidness. So I first define volumes and shapes. Then add anatomy, which gives them detail. Shading stuff follow them.
July 26, 2020 5:45am #25999Hi, my name is Yamikumo, a newbe of this forum.
I've dived into figure drawing since April this year, but I have never tried to let someone see my artwork.
As I joined this community today, I decided to ask people some critiques.
Since I started drawing, I'm doing gesture drawing as daily training. The picture below is the last work.
I will be glad to have any kind of advice, revision, or something. Thank you.
