Use less lines. Try to be deliberate with your lines. Instead of drawing three lines to describe the curve of the figure's waist try to focus on doing it only one stroke.
Try to get some rhythm into your gestures. I also recommend you look at Bridgeman to help you with thinking about drawing planes vs. shapes.
