day 33

My current goal is: Reduce stiffness and make my drawings feel more dynamic, energetic, fluid
---
I'm aware that I don't post every single session on here but I have been drawing for 33 days straight. I'm not really focusing on hands or feet closely, I know I've gotten critiques under my posts before asking that I study hands and feet more, but in doing that I couldnt focus on improving on one thing at a time. Right now I want to get the general gist of figure drawing and the gesture of bodies. Trying to get proportions right, and making sure that theres a balance in poses.

You're doing a really good job, @CupcakeTofu, and you are getting more dynamic. If you make your lines of action wildly out of proportion, you might find that you are getting a dynamic feel, even if you don't use them in a finished piece.

Marvelous work on your figure drawings and quick drawings, Cupcake. Very, very, very greater job so far. WAY TO GO!
So, in order to help you improve your figure sketches, here's a totally and sincerely sincere critique here: I love your quicker sketches, at 30-60 seconds or something, but I'm not getting enough of the power and passion in your quickest of sketches of the figures. Could you please loosen and liven up your lines and outlines with 2 hours of 60 second quickest poses of the static and dynamic figures, in a variety of dress? (7200 seconds/60 seconds=120 drawings, all flipped horizontally or vertically)

The reason why you could and furthermore, should do this is because, it can and will be able to scrawl out your figures as abstract shapes or lines, using your right side of your brain, and make your poses the least stiffer, and the most spontaneous, lively and appealing.
Good luck to you.
