You should pay attention to the character's head. It seems to be too small.
1July 16, 2023 8:16am #29929I haven't seen the reference, but the eyes are pretty far apart.
1June 12, 2023 1:22pm #29786The video also shows well the weaknesses of the method. Individual features disappear and the end result looks like a prototype. The shapes of the nose and mouth are wrong. The shape, size and direction of the eyes are different from the model.
1June 3, 2023 3:51am #29749Later drawings have a sculptural style. You describe the structure clearly.
December 5, 2022 9:51am #29134Beautiful drawings. The eyes are a bit too big.
1 1November 7, 2022 10:00am #29020In addition to the Loomis method, try faster practices. Choose a picture and try to find the main features of the face. Then draw only them. You don't always have to draw the whole head or the structure of the face.
May 22, 2022 3:36am #28568I did not see any drawing. Is that link ok?
May 15, 2022 12:09pm #28533Beautiful girl. If you want more realism, focus on the shape of the model’s nose and the size of the eyes.
May 10, 2022 6:55am #28522The link seems to be broken

Forums "Critique" and "Practice & advice" have a couple of spammers.

March 19, 2022 4:48am #28278First mark the locations of the most important elements. Use enough time to this phase. Then when you draw eyes, mouth, nose etc, do not draw a prototype of those. Examine carefully how do they look like.
Above all, draw a lot.
Hope this helps!March 18, 2022 3:37pm #28270The link does not work. Says access denied, "you need access"
March 15, 2022 4:08am #28255For me it looks like in the pictures 1,2,3 and 12 the eyes are too open.
February 20, 2022 8:43am #28189Have you downloaded Loomis's books? Not references but guides.

The faces are quite general. I did not find the book very useful.
November 8, 2021 6:35am #27816In addition to the previous advice, one could add that it is not always necessary to draw the whole head. Sometimes you can draw only the areas of the eyes, mouth and nose. Individuality is often found in that area. And as others have already written, draw a lot and have fun.
