My goal is to better understand anatomy.
I have no idea what happened today. Proportions were off, lines are stiff, I had no understanding of how everything connected. I tried to add more constructive lines after establishing the most descriptive lines to understand how the body worked, but the longer poses fell apart, more so than usual I think.
I am trying to simplify linework, sacrifice a bit of fluidity for the sake of anatomy, and then add more fluid lines again over the constructive forms, which I failed to make here.

Every day is different. It's okay to have an off day - in fact, sometimes it indicates that your thoughts are in the process of shifting, which can mean progress/breakthroughs on the horizon. :)
Is part of your practice not lifting your pencil from the paper?
On a contrary way of what you say i think those are really fluid, go ahead and have no fear of distorting a bit or a lot, those are pretty regocnizable as bodies and their poses! You're going really well!
