Done as part of a practice session with poses of 2 minutes in length. (I paused for 30 minutes or so.) My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

I'd say the one thing that's stands out is where you pet the lines around the ears and shirt. Petting the line refers to when you make very small strokes over the same line, it makes it look scratchy and and the only way to fix is to practice line confidence. Having a confident line would really level this up. There are some other things but the proportions are mostly correct and I believe line confidence should be the thing you work on next.

I agree with you whole-heartedly... I am petting and I do lack line confidence... however this is just a sketch. I have to make some time to actually do a real drawing and not just sketches. :(
