Done as part of a 1 hour class.
My current goal is: Fundamentals
Focused on taking my time, and using single lines and restating as needed. Also proportions
Merc
Good afternoon,
Fundamentals (as Polyvios suggested) is a broad topic, so finding a more focused goal could be helpful. This would also help those who critique to have a focus for their thoughts as well.
As is, you mentioned taking your time and using single lines. This is quite apparent in your drawing and I think that you did an excellent job at that goal. I can see the shape of your pose so well from your line of action to the rest of your construction. Even the lines of the shoulders and hips feel like you payed careful attention to.
This may be a good time for you to start looking at construction of the figure and how you could incorporate more of it.
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Thank you. I was actually better at my anatomy before than now, but I found I was sturggling with my observational skills, Which is why anatomy hasn't been my focus. I will start delving more into anatomy then maybe starting with a specifc body part? what do you suggest?
Merc
If you want to continue working on observational skills then still lifes are an excellent way to go. I would even go so far as to say still life with no timer accociated. Really spend the time looking at the shadows.
As far as anatomy, go with what interests you. You would need to get to all the body parts eventually, so start with what seems interesting and it will make the rest easier because you already have a foundation.

The reason why is because, if you really need and want to get better at your fundamentals, all you need to do is pick something more specific out of drawing the fundamentals of the figure. My hat's off to you.
