Thanks Sanne! Yeah I am currently working on trying to use fewer lines to get the figure down. I often find that I have to try multiple times to get the right line. I may be rushing too much to get as much down on the page as possible in the 30 second and 1 minute exercises. I'll try to be more deliberate and economical in my next practice.

Have you tried drawing gestures in fewer lines yet? I can see that the legs are made up of several lines, but could be drawn with just one. Something that has helped me before is taking the whole 60 seconds to carefully think about what lines to put down, in the fewest amount possible. One line for the spine, two lines for the legs, two lines for the arms, and if there is time left shapes to denote the hips, ribcage and head. Forcing myself to capture a figure with less lines makes me more conscious of what I need to draw to make something that resembles the figure I want to recreate, which is an important way to reconfigure the brain and makes it easier to draw what I see later on.
I don't know what your current technique is, but try to draw from the shoulder and elbow if you give that a shot. Confident strokes do a LOT for capturing motion and fluidity. I see some hesitation in your current strokes that I think might be making it more difficult to capture the flow of the gesture.
