A 13 min life drawing I revisited & reworked.

This looks pretty good, the one thing I would work on is the upper body/chest area.

Thank you for critiquing my drawing. The young lady's upper body is not that well developed. Check out the other drawings of Rebecca that I have done. Overall her figure is very nice.

Your handling of the foreshortening is spot on! Well done!

Great job. Very emotional. I feel loneliness and maybe a hint of despair. Was the use of two different colors in the hair an artistic choice? Hair is very hard. I find blocking in the hair makes it look fuller. The lines are bold and committed. I am trying to get to that point.

Thank you for critiquing my drawing. I have found that treating a foreshortened shape as a shape and placing it within its relationship with other shapes in the figure is the best way to handle it. If you can get the idea straight, you will not have any problems with foreshortening.

Also. I thank you for critiquing my drawing. There are no 2 colors in the drawing. Black ink was used. Thank you for the suggestion of dealing with hair. I will give you suggestions due consideration. I like the result of using pen and black ink.

Good evening, Tx Williep, this is Polyvios, how are you doing tonight? Once again, I love how much gesture, design, and shapes and forms of your figure sketch. Very, very excellent job on your slowness and care you've really put into the edges and shapes.

However, I can see, is that some of the lines could use just a bit more animation and cartooniness. Would you kindly switch to oil pastels, except with the labels peeled off, and loosen up your arm with 30 minutes of 1 minute nude poses? You'll get real sketches that are less stiffer and more dynamic, energetic, melodramatic, and lively, and fluid. For further info, look into this video below:

Good luck to your marches of progress. Good night.

Very nice to hear from you. Have you been ill? Rebecca2 is a reworking of the original. She is a very nice lady who has modeled for our life drawing sessions. As pointed out above, she does not have a large top, but her overall figure is very nice. We are very pleased to have her model for us. I decided to do some reworking of the drawing. I will often do this. The poses are 1min, 2min, 5min, and 10 or so minutes in length. The group hates 1-minute poses and would be against your proposal. If you will look at the other Rebecca pictures, you will see I am trying to make the drawings simpler & use long unbroken lines to define the shape. I know you are into animation but I am not.

I was not able to get into the video you recommended. Thank anyway & take care.

Actually, I feel that you have to sign into your Vimeo account in order to get access into your video. Is that too much to ask? Anyway, good evening to you, Tx.

I do not want anything to do with Vimeo. They tried to get $250 from me. I had to go to my VISA card company to get it cleared up.

OK then.
