Hello! I'm May, a freshman in college rn! ATM I'm a drawing and illustration major, but I've been drawing since I was in elementary school. I don't know what I want to do in particular, but I know I should always work on the basics. I'm leaning towards marketing art for video games/tv shows/ movies, or maybe character design/ setting design. Regardless! I also participate in Art Fight and I'm trying to develop my characters a little more. I tend to get invested in the sketch but end up super unhappy with the final, so I'm trying to combat that!
If you couldn't tell by my rambling, I have ADHD. I was diagnosed about 5 months ago, but have yet to do much with that. Hopefully starting medication in the summer. Like many artists here, I have a short attention span when it comes to my art, which is why I love these websites!
As an art major, I find myself not doing too much personal art, which I hope to change here. I want to continue my personal work and build a strong portfolio for future careers! I'll link some of my social media on my profile if anyone's interested. ☻☺
