The poses read very well and your sense of volume is pretty good. I can see that some proportions are slightly off. Drawing from imagination is great, but it can enforce some bad habits if you do just that. If you are not already doing it, balance with more observational drawings, compare them to your imaginative drawings and focus on what you feel you are lacking.

Keep it the good work.1July 24, 2020 3:58pm #25990The 2 drawings on the bottom are the better ones.
You are too focused on the contours you should pay more attention to the overall shapes and the proportions.

Honestly, your drawing isn't bad at all for a 30s pose, your proportions are pretty good and the pose is very readable. it's not very dynamic thought and feels that you are very careful with your lines as if you are drawing your lines slowly.
I would recommend limiting your self for one or two types of lines may be C curves and stretched S curves of just straights (don't overuse straits though it will stiffen the drawing) and draw them as quick as you can, just drop the accuracy for a few exercises and then try to be more accurate.
Keep it up.
2July 19, 2020 5:44pm #25974Hi Katie,
I would say you have captured the proportions pretty well for most of your drawings, and the gesture reads very well.
if you are trying to make fewer lines I recommend that you make more 30 seconds or even 15 seconds drawings it will train your brain to be more efficient to capture the gesture with more decisive cleaner stokes. take the time to observe your overall drawing before making any strokes for at least 20% of the time given to you.
For 1 minute drawing try to capture more of the volumes of the shapes of the body.
Nice work, good luck, and stay safe.
