Something that helped me with being more loose was doing the animal gesture drawings It is a lot easier to break down the curves of the form with certain animals like Otters and Seals This video from Proko gives good advice on practicing gestures with seals &ab_channel=Proko. and this video from Love Life Drawing gives 11 tips on working with gestures &ab_channel=LoveLifeDrawing. (they call them rules but I wouldn't get so caught up with following them as rules more like suggestions everyone's got their own methods)
my last piece of advice is to experiment while you practice your gesture drawings try new things out even if they don't work these exercises help you practice how you convey the figures there not meant to be master pieces, but they help you be more prepared and confident when you do work on your actual pieces.
