Hm they look loose alright, I think you should focus on longer poses 1-2 minutes if you want to construct the body using primitives like this. From what I can tell right now you're just rushing and making bad habits. 30 second poses are meant to convey the whole figure with a few lines, or in other words how is the weight distributed, where is the action or "story".
