As a part of my goals to push myself I use rotation and randomization.
I rotate through the drawing options one after the other, figure, animal, faces, hands & feet, and scenes. Then I take the luck of the draw for what I get. I only skip if I have drawn that image multiple times, and even then sometimes I push to find something new. I also rotate through the color of pen, allowing multiple colors for landscape for now.
So all of this creates interesting combinations like today. A dramatic hand pose and green results in something like a corpse. Not what I set out to do, but I kinda dig it.
Nice job on capturing the rather bonier look and feeling of that hand. Way to go!
