Done as part of a 1 hour class. My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form

This is a really nice drawing!! I love your use of tone here with hints of highlight that, rather than it being distracting, gives a good indication of form of the upper torso and arms. I'm not sure what the original picture looks like, but it seems like the model was wearing loose pants? It's difficult to capture a good sense of volume with loose fabric, but it would still help to split the legs into two parts; the upper and lower leg, even if they're not bent. With the right leg, it would feel better if it were drawn with a slight hint of the leg's curvature on one side and the other side having the fabric droop loosely.Sometimes the picture of the model doesn't give us that at all, but as an artist we would have to alter our perception slightly in order to give our drawing the best kind of communication to viewers as possible, even if we have to slightly exaggerate it sometimes. But otherwise, I think this is really solid work and I hope that you keep doing more tonal studies like this! And also I think the proportions of the limbs are good!

I love how bold you are with your values in for life sketch, VintageElysium. Besides, I have a thing for your improvement: Why don’t you drop out some extraneous lines, in 5 minutes (300 seconds), if you pretty, pretty, pretty please???????? And you know why???? Cause you’ll scribble out you all strongest lines of action and rhythm, very, very boldly and rapidly.

Assume that’s completely and totally useful. Polyvios Animations
