this one was SO HARD for me. I know there are some sloppy lines and what not going on here, but I was mainly concerned with just trying to get those weird curves and forshortening etc.

Yup that's a challenging pose! I feel like you got the lower half of the body down nicely and it prolly got harder as you moved up the body where the forshortening increased. Even if not all things are in exactly the right places, I like your style and linework! And the shadows/darks you put in seem like you really had a feel for it.

Thank you So much for the feedback! This one really stretched me, I almost gave up in frustration halfway through! This one really stretched me, I almost gave up in frustration halfway through. And yes you are right, as I worked my way up I started disconnecting all the pieces LOL!

Good, you are challenging yourself. By doing so you will learn a lot more (progress). Your shading line follows the body ( good). Lookup pen & ink drawings to see how they are shaded. Also, check out "On Air Video" which is a good source of figures to draw (free). In handling foreshortening, if it is very severe, draw the shape. Good job. Let's have some more (practice makes better). Things will get better with practice.

Excellent, thank you! I will check out on air video and pen shading techniques.

I think you did a really good job on this piece. It's a difficult pose but I think you captured the gesture beautifully.

Wow, wow, Aheading!! Greatest works on the most flowing-est poses and gestures I've EVER seen! Not to mention the most clarity of the eye expressions, too. Still these poses, expressions and gestures are not the most boldest and spontaneous enough yet. How would you love to please work with the most underhand position of the your pens and pencils and sticks with 14 minutes of 24 second attitude sketches, along with 7 minutes of 28 seconds of faces and expressions, followed by 6 mins of 28 second faces sketches and doodles.

The logical reason behind these things are because for your most current goal as it comes to make your drawings and sketches of these things the least stilted and the most dynamic, and the most forceful, but not forced in the gestures or forces. For even most info, please look into The Gesture Drawing app on the iPadOS and iOS.

My hat's off to you. Have lots of fun practicing!
