Done as part of a 30 minute class. My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

Nice work!try to use the line weight variety. and the most important thing I would suggest: look more than draw. look for main simple forms that every object contain and dont pay attention on details. you can do that even without pensil and paper, just look on the stuff around you when you walking or shopping. what is fun) good luck!

Wow! Amazing!! That's a very nicer job on your arachnid sketch, SINE. Nice going on how you rendered that action and acting with some light lines.

However, I've got one small, littler suggestion to help you improve. My problem is so much choppiness in the lines, especially in the spider's lines of the body. Why don't you please draw longer, largest, and the most confident in your strokes, by way of 147 minutes of 29 second animals and insects???????? (147 x 60/29, 8820/29=304 loose creature pictures) And while you're at it, please check out this video here: https://youtu.be/Z9Px68r5BNU

The reason why you could and would do this is because, it can and will give you a much deeper idea of gesture drawing as applied to animals.

I hope you've found this tip and video of greatest use to you.
