September 4, 2020 3:24am #26144Hey, there! I'm a self-motivated artist myself. One of the things that got me onto this site was a YouTube video by Sycra found here: https://youtu.be/xmiwGm32dXU where he talks about how to use figure drawing practice effectively. Additionally, look up Aaron Blaise (aka creatureartteacher), a former Disney animator who also has tips and tricks for an aspiring artist/animator. Those two channels and consistent practice alone should help you a great deal. Best of luck!1August 30, 2020 9:05pm #26139For anatomy lessons that don't cost very much if you want a teacher, former Disney artist Aaron Blaise has helped my self-taught self more about how the human figure is constructed. And on Youtube, I find Sycra's tips in general to be less professional but also generally helpful.
With that said, I do think your gestures are nicely loose and have a rhythm to them, which is important. Keep going!1 1 -
