Working Proportions and a little rendering of anatomy.

Excellent work on your 1 hour drawing, ksari46. Nice try.

If I was to suggest a refinement, then why don't you go for yet another 11 minutes of 30 second poses? The reason why is because, you'll become much, more looser and freer in your proportion and anatomy gestures.

Hope it's been absolutely operative.

Yes, I will, and thank you for your help.

I would advise to focus on the proportions before you start rendering. You could start shorten your time frame to force yourself to not get lost in details.

Overall a very nice figure. Hands and feet need some work. The proportions are fine, except for the lower legs (remember the upper and lower legs are the same length except seen in the foreshortened view). Be sure you date your work. Why? You may someday want to compare current work with past work. If the works are dated, you can do the comparison more easily. All in all you are coming nicely. Keep it up and practice, practice, practice.

Thank you, I appreciate your advise.

A good drawing! Some comments:

- The breasts look somewhat strange-- there is not enough space between the breasts and the chin, and they look like they are flopping outward from the center of the chest. If you visualize them as being connected at the armpits and sternum they might hang more naturally.

- The shape of the legs is good but the proportions are off- the left thigh in particular is very long.

- Even if the kneecap itself is a circle, the whole knee usually appears more oval-shaped when people are standing up.

Thank you, I think the connection points will help me next time. I am still learning the whole anatomy thing, so trying to find those tie down point throughout the body is still challenging. Bones are little easier than soft tissue as I am sure you already know.
