Done as part of a 30 minute class. My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form

Nicest performance in your figure drawing, PCONTE, that's very greatest! Again, if I was to point out on some aspect to your sketch, I'd say that I'd love how you're going with the overall body proportions, in this difficult foreshortened pose.

And as for the critique here, then it would be to define the body anatomy, in terms of the human skeleton, in the female body, in your very first 6 hour class mode; when combined with the female skeleton anatomy you'd find online, books, and ebooks. Why don't you please go with any of those?

The reason why is because, these can be extremely important, essential, and vital in your body proportions, perspective, foreshortening, and anatomy of the skeleton.

Keep up the great job, and I hope you'd find it extremely and totally useful and beneficlal.

Hello,

It looks like you ran out of space on your paper. The neck looks pretty stiff as it is, possibly because the head has not been defined well.

The shoulders and arms look fine. The foreshortening in the legs would have been tough to execute especially the part where the thighs become the buttocks.

Keep practising, you're putting in some hard work here. :)

Hello!

I agree with Polyvios that I admire the direction you are going with body proportions. I can clearly see where the front, middle, and back of the body are, and I think this is a strength! One suggestion I have to potentially try, is to loosen up your wrist and practice drawing the general shapes you see first before adding the details. It might help with later connecting all the parts together. Overall, I think this is a lovely piece that shows some hard work and growth!
