Done as part of a practice session with poses My current goal is: Better understand human anatomy, so I can render imagined poses
Aunt Herbert
Great outlines for torso, shoulders and hips and good indication of shoulder and back muscles. The thigh looks off. A bit too slim, and it doesn't seem to attach to the hip properly. The right leg and foot look like you lost concentration.

Greatest performance, genocide, on your motion of the muscles and bones of that backshot there.

I'm really getting put off at the lack of head in that drawing of that figure. Would you please loosen up with 1 hour of 30 second faces and expressions, for gesture? (120 faces and heads)

The reason why you would, could and should do this idea is because, it can, shall and will be able to help make your figure drawings the most connected there are.

Good luck, and cheers to you.

I think shading is really good and your sketch is really good maybe just focus on legs?

I think studying muscle forms in anatomy would help a lot. The lines on the back, and the form of the leg, don't match the anatomy of the body. Though this was from reference, having a better understanding of muscular forms would help depict them more naturally. This is something I myself need to work on as well! Anyways, the pose is still readable and I can see what you could've been drawing from. Keep going!!
