by GdlB, April 11th 2024 © 2024 GdlB

Done as part of a practice session with poses of 60 seconds in length.

Selection of the most complete session's drawings.

My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form

Hello again, GdlB. Nicer job on your range of flow, motion, and fluidity of the poses. I love how much expression you've gotten into your anatomy of the hands, arms, feet, and legs in your static yet dynamic poses, but I'm not getting enough of the exaggerated emotions yet. Would you care to just go for 31 minutes of 30 second sketches? So that you could be even more into the heart of the pose??

As a result, you can and will push more of the sparkling life. For most details, kindly observe this youtube.

Let's hope they've been more helpful but concrete.

60 seconds is quite a short time to complete a figure that much. I feel, you would progress faster, if you would concentrate on drawing more controlled lines, but be OK with just having less of the figure finished. That way you develop a drawing rhythm that you can use consistently for long form drawings as well as for sketches, and every sketch you do could be expanded into a long form drawing without having to erase all the lines.

you captured the energy of these poses so well! i think you should try using more guidelines, maybe with shapes, to keep your proportions on the right track. some of them, like the bottom left look a little off so i think it would help! :)
