30s poses

by GdlB, April 13th 2024 © 2024 GdlB

Done as part of a practice session with poses of 30 seconds in length.

My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form

Hello again, GdlB! Again, nice job on recording and caricaturing the proportions and angles with as few lines as you possibly drew. Therefore, I love how really recognizable your figures' poses are, but I'm not getting enough of that funniness in your drawings yet. Why don't you please loosen yourself up in your hands with 109 more minutes of 30 second figure sketches? Thank you.

The reason is because, your relationships can, shall, and will become more like the photos, but more funny as them. So, for more info, kindly look into Cartooning by Ivan Brunetti, for their particular drawing exercise.

Good luck to you and your goal.

Hello, thanks for your support. I think I will go back to "class modes" next time, I miss it a bit. Doing 2-1mn and 30s drawings seems useful indeed and I will work on it time to time. But even if it helps me to figure the lines of actions, the movement, I feel that it doesn't give me time to appreciate and understand some details like muscles, hands and feet.

It seems like your jumping to fast into the contours. You should first focus on getting the gesture of the limbs with two sections. Good line of action.

I think you are putting in good work, and will progress by getting used to common shapes.

I would recommend to try to focus more on identifying basic landmarks of the foundation: head, ribcage, hips.
