Done as part of a 1 hour class. My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form

You're on the right track! I think you should focus on blocking out the shapes in the human form before going in on a detailed drawing. For example, your legs are out of proportion. The right leg in particular needs a bit more work. The thigh seems to be a little longer than it should be on a human. The figure is also a little stiff. I would recommend finding the line of action (haha) in your model. Usually, I find that in the curve of the spine. Finding this line and then blocking out the rest of the human shape will improve your proportions. Good luck
