Done as part of a practice session with poses of 20 minutes in length. My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

Everything is very proportional which is very hard to do. I would say the cheek is a little tall and the nose would be turned up a little more at that angle, but otherwise it's lovely.

Your proportions and feature placement is extremely good for a beginner even surprising in fact . The biggest piece of advice I can give you is to use longer more confident strokes . I'm not too sure what you are using to draw but if it is anything along the lines of pencils and such you could switch your grip to overhand or tripod grip but further to the end of the pencil . Also try and practice drawing with your whole arm instead of only your wrist it will stop you from having the scratchy/furry lines , to do this you could just squiggle curves and circles as a warmup . Keep up the great work
