10 Min Marina

My current goal is: Reduce stiffness and make my drawings feel more dynamic, energetic, fluid
Please be gentle, it's my first time doing the scenery section on line of action and uh not sure how to line of action them yet :D.

I love the shading everywhere, but specifically on the lantern. I think if you are trying to capture fluidity and movement in the drawing, I would suggest using a softer brush and using long, smooth strokes. Overall, I really love it!

The lighthouse/lantern is the center of interest upper left (rule of thirds - if you don't know, look it up). It is counter balance by the boards in the lower right. The railing moves the eye back to the center of interest. Bottom line, it all works. Good job. Let's have more.

Can't take credit for that, that's the picture's good composition there. It's some kind of lantern thing on a pillar. Never seen anything like that, but I don't go to a lot of marinas either.
