Beautiful effort you've put out, jordankinsley. If I was to give you a critisism, it would be that the tetrad of your color pallette is almost there. Why don't you please, if you haven't already, make the star a bit more yellow-orange, along with the girl's hair, a blue-violet-black? Other than that you're doing fine.
And do you know why? Because, it'll help you to improve your understanding of color harmonies.
If I was to give you a recommendation on the shading, it would be to make the tones wrap around the forms of that pose more. The reason why is because, when combined with color, it'll make the colors and values, more warm, complex, and harmonious.
Truth be told, there's a lot of info on color relationships of the color wheel, both physically and online; rendering tones, the same thing on this website.
Hope they've been completely and totally fit.
