Despite the intense background, I think it doesn't distract me from the main action of the attitude.

It doesn't hurt so much with the image on big display, but it doesn't add really much either. And on the thumbnail it messes up silhouette and readability quite a lot.
I think I got the right idea on the figure and stuck to it, but then I started some background as an afterthought, changed my idea about the background halfways, and ended up doing it sloppier than it needed to be. It does reflect her attitude quite a bit, so it's not a total distraction, but it's not a real improvement either.
Not happy with the intense background. I wish I hadn't done that.
