My current goal is: Improve my shading and rendering of light.
Polyvios Animations
Greatest work on your hatching and crosshatching job on your facial expression, AuntHerbert.
My smallest issue is that though you're already getting a far bit better with your line efficiency, but this efficieny could use just a little bit more work here. Would you kindly do 3 more hours of 3 second crosshatching exercises? (10,800/3/14 days, 3,600/14=257 squares) (all on this image:)
As a result, the reason of it being, is, your tones by lines will be the most dynamic and the least contrived and stiffest you and me'll see.
Cheers and good luck to you and your goal.

This is stunning. I love the lines of the nose to express the scrunching of the face. The ear is wonderful as well, with really dynamic hatching. The hatching on the cheek nearest the ear is distracting due to it not having the same line quality as other areas although I imagine you are not yet finished with that area.
The perspective seems a tad off with the jaw, as the jaw itself seems like it's turned too much and not wrapping around with the skull. Or the brow should be more angled to allow for it. However, I'm not sure if it has twisted totally around based off of the scrunched facial expression.
Great work!
