February 21, 2025 7:43pm #37636Just a quick update:
I've been working pretty heavily on the next version of the tool software. It's going well. I've had to take some breaks to do some client work in order to put food on the table, which has slowed me down more than I wanted, but I'm still going strong. I really hope to be taking beta testers in a couple of weeks here.
Here are some new features I have finished so far, in addition to rebuilding the existing features:- Auto-pause while images finish downloading and displaying
- Optionally choose a specific model to draw (For example, only drawing Javani, or Rosali, or Sanne.)
- Ability to limit the number of poses per session, without using class mode. For example, you can set the timer to 30 seconds per image, and then say you only want 10 images instead of just infinitely being shown pictures until you press stop.
- When choosing a custom time interval, you no longer have to do it only by seconds. You can choose to enter seconds OR minutes.
These are features that aren't finished but are in progress and will hopefully all be part of the beta in a few short weeks:- Official image playlists on specific themes (For example, various models doing challenging foreshortening poses)
- Optional warning noises when the timer is getting low
- Option to change the timer size
- Remembering the previous settings you've used for drawing sessions and allowing you to rapidly re-use them
- Better image review after a session is ended
- Easier/more obvious ways to draw from your own playlists
- Easier/more obvious ways to draw from your purchased photo bundles (and only those images, rather than just putting them in the mix)
There's plenty more I want to add, but I don't want to add too many features to this release so that I can get it out and let you use it faster. :)
I hear you all on wanting more photos and tutorials! This particular update is more about features/quality of life/ease of use rather than content. I am including a rewrite of how the software handles tutorials, tips and classes, so that it's easier for me to expand that kind of content in future. On the current version it is a HUGE hurdle.-

February 21, 2025 3:26pm #37635Well, I'm glad we found a work around, though clearly we still need to fix the underlying issue!
I'll be honest, I'm a couple of weeks out from releasing a new version of the tools into beta testing, so I may leave this as a "will not fix" until we see if the new version works for you :)February 18, 2025 1:18pm #37622February 12, 2025 11:48pm #37603I need more info. Does the timer not move? Does the timer not appear at all? Are there buttons? Do the buttons work at all to advance things? Does it seem to think it's working but the image never refreshes despite the timer moving along?February 1, 2025 3:11pm #37567Okay, next theory: What file TYPE are you uploading?
In flailing about to figure out what's wrong, I updated how errors are reporting, so it may maybe give you more info on your next try too.January 30, 2025 7:06pm #37565Quote:Hi! I'd love classes with images all the same length of time.
For example, a 30-minute class where I can draw each pose for 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 30 seconds, etc.
This is definitely in the works! :DJanuary 29, 2025 12:28pm #37559Draped fabric is a category we do have and you can filter by! :) But -- I think you and I are on a similar wave length.January 26, 2025 12:54am #37554Frustratingly, I'm not able to reproduce the error this time. It is obstinately working fine for me. Can I ask what the file size of the photo you're trying to upload is?January 24, 2025 5:51pm #37549Well, darn. I'll look into it again, though I don't think I will be able to do it today. Hopefully I can circle back with another update tomorrow though. :)January 24, 2025 5:49pm #37548I know this must be so frustrating and disheartening, and I'm sorry you're going through it.
To a small extent, a little bit of regressing in the learning process is normal. The extent that you seem to be describing sounds pushes into the territory of a disorder or medical issue. I don't know that the general advice this forum can provide will be able to help you in a way you're satisfied with. This may be something that requires medical attention (which I recognize is very hard/lengthy/traumatizing/expensive to access in a lot of places.)
Unfortunately, "those skills will build over time the more you do them!" and "Take notes, record timelapses, etc" are the advice that the art community is largely going to be able to provide you with.January 23, 2025 7:29pm #37545January 6, 2025 4:47pm #37439Hi there! I may have this sorted, can you try again now and let me know how it works for you? :)January 4, 2025 1:45pm #37432It definitely sounds like a problem on our end! Lemme see what I can track down on Monday. Thank you so much for the report.December 19, 2024 2:20pm #37236Just jumping in to help, I think this is the direct link to the post Aunt Herbert was talking about above! :)

They can't be embedded. You need to put the link directly to the image file to use the img tag and have them embedded. These links would end with .png, .jpg, .gif or .webp. For example: https://i.ibb.co/PggR0Z1/MTXX-20241220-015036601.jpg
Which looks like this in the img tag:
