I heard a great way to get into habit building is to choose ONE thing and stick to it every day for 100 days. For me, I chose line of action, as my art always feels like it improves after using it consistently. But I sure struggle with consistency!

WOO! I made it through the first week of the challenge! The first day wasn't recorded, because I wasn't logged in, and I lost my recorded "streak" for doing a study after midnight. But who cares, I know the real deal ;) I am so glad that even with a busy, chaotic, schedule, I was able to show up for my self improvement for one half hour every day this week. I have jumped all around from expressions, figure, hands & feet, and today, birds. There are so many category options and filters it's hard to feel bored doing these, and I think jumping around is teaching my eye new tricks to utilize on a previous category when I repeat it.

I haven't found a way to post my sketches on here without paying for the full subscription. But to the other two members of the group, WELCOME and thank you for showing up for yourself and in turn motivating me to keep going! When you feel like skipping a day, just remember, its only 30 minutes. And if you have thoughts like " I wish I practiced anatomy more", well, after 100 days that's 50 hours of anatomy study! You can do it, don't give up! Find your "why". For me, my why is I want to improve and see more flow on my sculpture work, and also be able to do more accurate and beautiful live sketches and drawings, like the people that sketch amazing portraits on subway trains, lol!

Life can be crazy, and there are many things that may try to slow you down. But don't give up. We got this, guys!

PS: would you be interested in doing a video call (keep it around 20 min or less) to discuss progress/tips for improvement? Possibly on Google Meet, next week?
