    Construction and structure are kinda weird to grab a concept of at first,but continual practice and repititon in implimentning it into your drawing will grow your raw and unique understanding of it so you can takeout and add whatever you like to it.But generally it is how you set up the drawing for forms,volumes and anatomy,etc.
    Structure is kinda like the volumes (Corners and boxes,indications for perspective)

    I would say,draw what you like/inspires you and get a lot of overall experience from studying and the go play with it from memory directly after practice.

    Also a cool practice is drawing an object and turning it into something else. An example is when i was drawing a vaccum clean but saw an alien sitting in a space ship so I drew that instead.

    I believe creativity will come as long as you keep practicing fearlessly and activly.Sometimes it takes 10,000 failures before you reach success.

    Swen has a good point. I'd like to add that if you don't want to be restricted in the future as an artist sometimes switching materials can be beneficial since you have to approach the forms in a different manner. Also I saw sometimes you'd seperate the spine and the leg as two gestures when they go the same way when it would work better with them moving in the idea of one line. Rather than form and shapes first get the relationship of the forms down,draw relying on your natural impulses to guide you rather than thought. It is the idea you must go after,there is a story to tell.

    First: What is the story

    Second: How do you tell it

    Be simple yet characteristic.

    These are quite nice, but i'd have to say the relationships from one for to another could use some work,along with stronger shape and proportion. I'm sure you know art is a language, so when you draw look for the story you want to tell and let that be the guide to your decision making. And lastly try some quick 1 minute gestures letting your line be free,don't pick up the pencil and rely on the sensations and impluses you recieve,this should help you free up your line work.     Hey,Logged in because I saw some inproper advice given. Do not focus on details and do not try to move as fast as you can. I would say for now have 60 seconds be your shortest pose time and focus on the overall idea and basic shapes of the pose. Get the feeling and essence of the pose down in as few lines as possible.Take time to look at the figure and internalize how it feels and how you will draw it,like thinking out and approach in chess.As artist it is also our job to see less and get the idea/image across with as little as possible. I reccommend checking out the book "The natural way to draw" By: Kimon Nicolaides. He explains this perfectly and far better than any lesson i've ever had on gesture. Above all else the ability to relax and never give up is key.Hope that helps,friend.
