Done as part of a 30 minute class. My current goal is: Better understand human anatomy, so I can render imagined poses note: my menu bar is hiding the feet

Nice drawing, you have some well defined muscles on the shoulder and shoulderblade. The thing I'm going to point out here is your outline; it's way too rough. Try to think of the outline as the frame of a puzzle, it's a good way to start out finishing your puzzle but isn't the end goal. In other words try to keep your outline as light as you can, unless you want to emphasize overlaps (which is also a very good way to convey form). Keep it up! :-)

Hi Smeki,
It looks like you are your way. I would suggest learning about gesture lines. It will make a huge difference in capturing the energy of the pose. Here is a great resource to learn about it. [url=

Cheers, and happy drawing.

Hi, Smeki,

I think your proportions are fairly good, although your detail could use some work. You've shaded the entire body, which works in phenominal ways, like with that arm! But the hands, feets and face do need improvement. Keep it up!!
