Very nice drawing. Don't know how close it is to the original person. Do some research on drawing the ear. Line-of-Action (L-o-A) has a whole section on heads/faces. Suggest you do some work there which should provide you with practice on heads. Good start, keep going.

I really love the drawing! It looking really nice and you have very distinct features. I would suggest adding some more contrast to really bump it up! It looks great!
