Done as part of a practice session with poses of 10 minutes in length. My current goal is: Better understand human anatomy, so I can render imagined poses

These faces are really expressive! When u draw them realistically dont forget the skull and muscles. U should try drawing muscle groups and skulls too

I see you may be using the Line-of-Action section on faces and expressions. Great idea. The drawings are all excellent. To understand human anatomy - both muscles and bone structure, use the internet. You will find a lot of free help there. Whatever you do: Keep practicing because practicing makes better.

When you start drawing complete figures, I would recommend you start with a simple stick figure. It will give you a chance to get the action of the figure setup. After you get things set up to your liking, you can expand it with flesh.

Hi Jinchenzhi,

Nice Work! I am a little new at this. I have been drawing a whole month and have done one critique before this one. I really like all the countenances on all your faces. Take a look at head 61 and 64. I like how you are working with those more extreme features. To help proportion the face when you start working on features like that, maybe consider page 5 out of Jack Hamm's book Head and Figure. I think it's beneficial to ensure the proportions are correct, especially when working on your expressions. BTW this was a suggested book on LoA; it's pretty neat. Keep it up. Law of Facial Features

Wow! These faces are really greater than I've would've made them. Very solid expressions, jinchenzhi!!

Yet, I've got one small idea: I see some solidity in all your facial expressions, why don't you free yourself up in making 15 minutes of 30-second caricatured facials, please? The reason why is because, you'll be able to be more caricatured, and simplest in your broadest strokes in your faces and expressions.

Hope it's been definitely and absolutely favorable.
