27-Second flipped face warm-up sketch
© 2020 Polyvios AnimationsDone as part of a practice session with poses of 27 seconds in length.
My current goal is: Improve my understanding of the forces of the facial skull, in terms of my facial anatomy.
Here is a really, really rougher and cruder scribble warm-up of a face of a samural pose and expression. Watch closely as we can feel the drama and intensity of that expression, with a lot of vitality, and a lot of energy.
What do you think of this?

Please post full drawings for critiques as most of us just don't have anything to say to these scribbles
