Done as part of a 30 minute class.

My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

English is not my first language, so I use translation sites. I may not be able to write a good reply, but if you give me a critique, I would like to refer to it.

This looks really great! You have a pretty good understanding of anatomy. It can use a tiny bit more work with proportions, but if you keep practicing, you'll be better in no time at all!

When I look at this, the thing that comes immediately to my mind is motion. You're drawing figures mainly in action, but the positions look a little stiff. Honestly, I think the best solution to this is to loosen up a little bit and have more fun with it! Test out drawing figures in a more cartoonish style to get that action you're looking for. Exaggerate the movements just a little bit. Look at several different reference pictures of the position that you're looking for.

Hope it helps! Best of luck to you and your art!

Hello Dilettant Artist

Thanks for the dritique.

Your advice on how to make the movement more free was very helpful.

I'll try to practice caputuring the shapes in a more cartoonish style.

I hope you will critique my work again.

Hey akikoma,

I love how simplified your head, body, hand, and foot proportions are! Would you mind if I'd critiqued your sketch? I love how quick you'd sketched those poses, but why don't you please do more 30 second poses, all sketched out from shoulder, instead of just your wrist???

The reason why???? Because, it can and will help you out on drawing more livelier poses that tell the story visually, and to spend lesser time on the details and forms. Hope it's been completely and totally ingratiating.
