Done as part of a 1 hour class.
My current goal is: I don't know! I am an absolute beginner; I'm here to study the basics of rendering

Wow, irrelevant!
That's a nicer job on your lighter touch on those faces here. I really love how loose and light your lines are.
So, if I was to give you an idea for a critique, it would be that your faces are on the stiff side. Why don't you do 3 minutes of 30 second expressions, please?
The reason why you would do those practice expressions and faces is because, it can and will help out on your lightest lines in your study of your basics of rendering.
Cheers for you, and I hope you've found this admirable, supportive, and encouraging.

I really love how your quick sketches start out pretty rough and throughout the page you can see the flow come in as you get warmed up, by the end of the class you can see some really great drawings. I love the expression you gave in the bigger portrait sketches.
