You're doing a great job! I'd work on constructing the mouth as part of a portrait

Overall I think your quick sketches are great! With respect to the detailed sketch, I think the nose is a bit out of line which makes the mouth look like it's off but actually is not. I would practice more on the mouth shape. Well done!
