Done as part of a 30 minute class. My current goal is: Reduce stiffness and make my drawings feel more dynamic, energetic, fluid Nice to meet you. I'm participating from Japan. I would be very happy if you could give me a critique. I'm not very good at English, so I'm using translation software to write this text. I may not be able to write a good reply, but if you give me a critique, I would like to refer to it.

Your drawing has some nice structure but it feels like you have lost the gesture as you designed the contour like for the legs and arms, the muscles feel more like stiff bumps rather than fluid masses flowing into each other.

I would advice you to try exaggerating more and do more gesture training, I can see that you have a developed sense of perspective so you should grow pretty fast!

its a great practice sketch :) I think that it would be better if you think of the fluidity of the body so that it would not be too stiff. Aswell as think of the perspective, and how each body part will look if you apply that principle, example is what you did on the right foot is really great, maybe you could apply it to the left foot as well so that both feet will liik more natural.

Happy drawing :)

Nice job on the pose, akikoma, very perfect job on making it solid, but fluid and expressive.

I've got one tiny little request: I am not getting enough of the animation in this pose. Why don't you please loosen up your poses, with 150 more minutes of 6 second exercises of figure sketches???? (150 x 60/6, 9000/6=1500 quick exercises)

The reason why you could do this little sketching workout is because, to best help you out on your current goal. And furthermore, would you please supplement that with 5 minutes of 30 second hands and feet? So that it could be useful to your life drawings.

Good luck with your current goal, and I hope you've found these completely useful, helpful and encouraging.

Hello, I am also a non-native English speaker, so forgive me for my English mistakes, I think you should increase practice on the bottom half of the body, especially the feet. In your sketch I wasn't able to understand which leg was more closer, the feet also look smaller compared to the rest of the body.
