August 9, 2020 4:47pm #26059Hi!
Your drawings are nice! But it is difficult to figure out your abilities if we don't know how much time took to do those sketches.
Clearly you would benefit from learning some gesture and some anatomy and practice more these kind of concepts. They help a lot with your overall perfomance while drawing.2August 10, 2020 12:29am #26061The figures are very, very nice. I always recommend the study of anatomy to re-enforce your knowledge of muscle and bone structure. Make drawings of the information you get from your study. Also, work on hands. Once you understand their structure, drawing hands are easy. Start with stick figure fingers. Each finger consists of 3 joints up to the knuckles. Get the dynamics and interaction of the figures down. Then you can expand on your finger drawing. Work on feet too - think triangles in almost all views.
A complex figure you are trying to draw can also use a stick figure to start with. I start with the head & shoulders. The relationships of the rest figure can be made.
Most important to improve your work: Practice makes better. Consequently, practice, practice, then practice more.2 2August 11, 2020 6:46pm #26066These are gorgeous! The last few are absolutly perfect.
You might want to capture the shapes first and try then find the body lines.2August 12, 2020 4:51am #26068I absolutely love all your sketches (10 minutes) so far, Cactus. Love the line quality in most of them.
My critique is this: I see some timidity in the gestures of the muscle structures. Why don't you draw from your shoulder in 600 seconds of 30 second sketches, pretty please?
The reason why you'd do this type of sketching is because, your movements of the nude female muscles will become even more looser and expressive. Hope it has been convienient.
