Done as part of a 1 hour class.
My current goal is: Improve at correctly capturing the overall proportions of the human form
Figure Study: 25 min

You are getting there. The figure overall looks just fine. You do need work on feet and hands. You are dating your work (very good). I am going to recommend you check out Pinterest and On Air Video. Keep practicing because as you know: practice makes better.

The torso looks a bit off, I'd recomend breaking it down to simplier parts, Proko's bean method is a good way to cement the torso fluidness. Since it seems like you're drawing the contours of the torso rather than the gesuture of it.

This is a good study. It looks like you've rushed to shading really in the process, though. Shading should generally not happen until you've captured the entire figure, and done some measuring of the body against itself to make sure that your proportions match the actual proportions of the model. Once shading goes down, it becomes very hard to make fixes to make the whole figure agree with itself.
My advice would be to worry less about "finishing" (such as shading) and to spend more time on the measuring stages -- do a pass where you measure body parts against one another and correct as necessary before jumping into shading. I know this is very hard to do, since shading is really fun and makes your drawings look nice, but shading is rarely what people need to work on in order to make big advances in skill.
Looking forward to seeing more from you! :)
